English Premier League (EPL) club Tottenham Hotspur has revealed an episode in which captain Son Heung-min, 31, 스포츠토토 sent a message to vice-captain Christian Romero ahead of the season opener but did not receive a reply.

"They are good teammates, but not all of them respond immediately to the captain," said Romero, according to British media outlet Football London on Feb. 22.

Son told a Tottenham fan forum on Sept. 20 that he sent a WhatsApp message to vice-captain James Maddison and Romero the day before the EPL opener against Brentford.

Typically, soccer players stand in a circle in the center of the pitch before a game, but Tottenham made a splash by huddling in front of the stands against Brentford.

"It was a special connection with the fans," Son explained. "Maddison was like, 'That's a great idea, let's do it,' but Romero didn't read it. When I approached the fans at the game, he asked me, 'What's going on?
